I love to teach and I love to learn. The two activities go hand in hand nicely because one of my passions is to go to a workshop, learn something new, and come back to share it with my students.

I've played with clay since I was a kid. I'm a self-taught sculptor. The wonderful Eric Struck of IMCO (a clay supply company in Sacramento) taught me wheel throwing.

I established Placerville Clayworks in 1996 and have introduced ceramics to hundreds of students since then.
